HR Manager
Client Services, Inc. (CSI), an established and professional call center located in Heredia, Costa Rica, is seeking a career-minded individual to join our team. Client Services is looking to hire an HR Manager to work with employees and managers to communicate and interpret Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. This person will be responsible for directing and performing all activities related to Human Resources areas, such as: recruitment, selection of personnel, career development programs, as well as job analysis and description, salary administration, etc.
Essential Functions:
- Manages Employee Relations
- Manages Company Benefits
- Conducts employee terminations
- Investigates employee matters and recommends actions to be taken.
- Conducts Insurance Enrollments
- Responds to unemployment insurance claims and attends hearings
- Administers to Workers Compensation claims
- Ensures HR and employment matters are in compliance with laws
- Manages special projects as assigned
- Provides leadership and supervision to direct reports
- Must adhere to company attendance requirements and work full time schedule
- Adhere to client, company and regulatory requirements and policies
- Assists in the development of personnel policies and procedures
- Oversee the attendance tracking program
- Partner with team leaders to motivate and retain employees and to develop engagement programs including CSR activities.
- Coordinate the Occupational Health and Emergency Response Team trainings and activities along with the corresponding vendor
- Assist with employee morale events
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary degree. (MBA in Human Resources is a plus).
- C1-C2 English level.
- 5+ year's experience in HR management.
- Heavy employee relations experience, and experience in administering benefit plans.
- Employee must have strong organizational skills including employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of labor legislation and payroll.
- Computer skills are required, must have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must communicate and work effectively with superiors and colleagues and have high energy, positive approach and ability to drive programs to completion with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to identify problems, seek resources for guidance, and communicate and/or implement solutions while using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, and policies, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Task/project oriented. Be able to complete tasks in a timely manner as well as handle multiple tasks.
- Exhibit professional behavior at all times and able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
